My Mom...Saint Mom, really...sent out a million boxes filled with my crap just before I left town. Today, I got all the confirmation receipts that she mailed to me so I thought I'd check to see what port all my stuff is getting chewed on by rats. Here's the response I got:
Your item was accepted at 7:30 AM on July 13, 2007 in ROCHESTER, NY 14692. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.
It's July 23rd. Thank you, Post Office. You've been very helpful. I cannot understand why you lose business to ups, et al. It's a fricken mystery. Please make it more expensive to send a letter across town.
